Radiometrics

This method is used to locate buried radioactive waste and prospection of geological rock complexes which contain radioactive materials. Radiometric results can tell about the spread of radioactive material on the surface or very near to the surface.

Radiometric surveys are carried out in dense grids. The Scintillometers are either held close above the surface of the ground, or placed in shallow percussion holes.
